A painter of the Muromachi Period who idolized the great artist Sesshū, and devoted her life to creating a new style of art. Like Sesshū, she drew from many sources, and was widely praised for the versatility of her new style and her skill at landscapes, portraits, and the popular flower and bird motifs of the era. She seeks to improve her skills ever further, and spends all day and most of the night drawing.
